Someone on a different thread here yesterday mentioned bweezy.com. I took a look and found it to be very interesting. It gives you Google results, but has very advanced features no other search engine has.

Its hard to say that who would be the number one in future but as I am know about google and its services, no one is as good as it is.

What do you mean by search engines that can "beat" google? What qualities and characteristics would qualify for being superior?

In my view, Bing can beat google. Bing is now doing good compared to yahoo. SO, Bing can beat Google if they do it seriously.

Google is by far the best, and I agree that Bing is doing well (it is a lot different from Google). I think it's only a matter of time until something bigger, better, faster comes along.

Only in China that Google is beaten. Baidu rules in China. But in general, I don't think there's a search engine that could topple Google.

Actually there will be no list to beat Google for there is no way for other search engine to beat Google as of now. Even Yahoo which seems to be next to Google in terms of SEO is still far behind Google.

Bing
yahoo
Alta vista

these are also most popular search Engines on web which can beat Google because these search engine have an ability to beat Google

Heh. Haven't heard AltaVista mentioned in quite a while :-).

I've been using Bweezy for a couple of days and am immensely enjoying its features. Especially since it's serving Google results so I don't lose out on that either.

I can't see the downfall of Google in the coming future, but forecasting a minimum constant growth in it, if it going work like the same in the near future.
