One of my sites started experiencing a large number of hits from one IP block yesterday. I don't believe its related to an identifiable Bot as this activity is at its normal level, as far as I can tell from the logs. I'm not showing any increase in unique visitors, just hits - so it sounds like someone is trying to crawl my site?
I'm on a shared server and the hosting company has effectively shut down the site.
Anyone familiar with this info? The IP range is 61.135.131.232 - 238
