The Other Search Engines

Hi everyone. I was just wondering what the best search engines to submit to are. Obviously google is the #1 engine but I'm not sure of what other engines to submit to. If anyone could provide a list and perhaps links to their submission pages it would be greatly appreciated.

If you got the patience. The ones already mentioned are indeed top list. Most of my visits come from MSN, google and yahoo in this order.

Kline11 gave you the big ones.

I would also spend alot of time submitting to other directories. This list from the Wow Directory (worth submitting to) http://www.wowdirectory.com/resources/ is a long list of directories and their PR. Many are free, some require a fee, and few require you to become an editor. I would certainly suggest submitting to all the free ones. Good for links.

Submitting to Search Engines is not really something you need to do anymore. Search engines use programs called "bots" or "spiders" that follow links within and between web sites. This is how sites get into search engines. As the previous poster mentioned, submitting to directories is one way to get "inbound" links to your site.
