Could anyone tell me if it is worth spending money to get listed with overture?

I have a small budget and would like to know the best way to get my site listed on UK search engines?

just google for now when you have more money try other paid options.

You can always set limits for adwords and I assume overture as well, so you spend what you want. I have my adwords set to a maximum of £2 per day which does me fine. It has been quite effective so far as you are getting traffic that actually wants to visit your site. If you use good keywords and description it can work very well.

well i just wrote in another thread, adwords is the best. and i will repeat it here. And to compare it with overture ::: adwords hits are genuine and convertion ratio had been 70% higher than overture on my spending for same amount on both. Plus overture has a phone support system, but adword replies with email and i found adword people more helpfull in solving overcharge than overture , and Overture just didn't cared even after i called them 10 times and showed proof of overbilling. I spent $500/mo on both to compare in Jan so it's not too old exp either. i am not reseller of adword but this is my exp.
