I have a new client and I want to know how long it takes for the site to get spidered. With Yahoo doing unusual things, and MSN being kooky, I need to be able to find out who and how many times this site is spidered and for that matter, the rest of the sites I do.

Is their software for this?

Code?

Thanks

Sites are randomly being spidered and there is no timeframe for that... As your site gets busier, the spiders will come more often...
To check the spiders' activities, use your hosting's awstats... there is sufficient spider information in there..

I'll dig around. I have stats on everything and on all my sites. I use Hitslink - have for over 5 years.

I guess I just need to focus in on them. I know what the spiders are called anyway.
