I'm hoping to compile a handy list of niche directories for webmasters to submit their specialised sites to.

If you have a niche directory please post it here and, if I like it, I will add it to the list I'm building, giving you a free backlink. I'm looking for free, reciprocal and paid niche directories for this project.

Hopefully in time this list will prove popular and will generate some traffic for you too.

When I have a few entries I will upload the pages and get the list indexed.

Yep, that's definately niche and I have added it to the list.

I've got over 100 directories to add now so watch this space and I'll post the url of the list over the weekend.

I've uploaded the beginnings of the niche directories list now. I still need to add a few categories but I think I have got most of the sites listed in this thread in there already, could still do with some more though.

A couple of directories listed above in this thread I consider to be more general, and they were already in my other lists anyway(see sig)

I started a directory, but I can't quite remember how it's supposed to fit into my site ... the delights of brain damage.

It's not far enough along to be in a niche... if I knew what niche ....

You are all welcomed to add your site to our info jungle free web directory, its going to be a reciprocal link and paid web directory once it has some PR and its more popular, at present we are just looking to populate it so fell free to add your website.
