A friend of mine challenged me to out-do him in a Google SEO listing. I'm not that good at it, so I thought I would ask for your opinion. Mostly I just make sites and let them ride, so this is the first time I actually try to get a listing on Google.
Ok, I am not plugging my site, I have way more traffic than this thread will provide for that: BUT, here is the site:
www.strippers need love too.com
Take out the spaces.
The keywords are supposed to be "stripper" and "strippers". He is #9 on Google for "strippers", out of about 1,180,000. Are there really a million strippers on the planet?
I have used all the techniques that I know work from other sites. Hidden text areas, that use javascript to hide areas, not CSS (Google doesn't seem to parse javascript to find out if an area will be hidden), lots of tags, alt tags, but not too many, html files that match keywords + words of models and famous people etc etc. Filenames rotate every 12 hours so content appears fresh.
Anyone have comments / opinions? Is it oversaturated or is there something I can do better that I missed?
I will need to at least get on the front page of Google for "strippers" to beat my friend.
