Hi Chief, sorry I wasn't too long on your board hope everyone missed me but I was at sea and when I was at home just don't have too much time to post on the borads...
As for listing you're right I was second in listing... I know some secret tricks in SEO too But now I change my description and you can still find me under this term on 17 place as a "Webmaster Key: Discussion forum" when I have free time some work on the listing should be done. As for topic of the best SE Google is still rulezzzzz

I've been using Google for quite a long time now and I can't imagine how I used to manage with Excite and Hotbot. Google just seems to be able to provide results for anything. The toolbar's the greatest invention, though, it's just SO useful!

Something I have noticed, though, is that recently I have been using Google Groups as much, if not more than, the web search, as it seems to provide quicker and better results for basic information (especially when researching computer problems).

Has anyone else found this?

After Google, my second choice is www.alltheweb.com. They claim to have a larger index than Google and their advanced search features are second to none. The only reason I prefer Google is the results are slightly better (but not much better).

defenitly google in the last 2 years... always good result, i usualy find what i want in the 2 firsts pages... i sometimes use the application copernic when i need to find something more specific healt or som1's e-mail addy.. ... altavista when i'm stuck with a deuch / italian / spanish etc.. version of something only.. they have a good trenslation service....

i wonder how yahoo can have lose so much interest from ppl, i remember when i begun to play with web.. quite a while ago, (95, 96...) yahoo and altavista were the best of the best!! webcrawler was doing a way better then they actualy do...

for me there is no comparison to Google.

simplicity itsself is the google design. You get the buttons you need, a logo that suits in its simplicity, and a fast response when you hit search

the results for me are always good. if it ain't on google, it ain't on the web basically. i use google 110% of the time. if by some coincidence i can't find it on google, i'd try a related domain search before i go to any other search engine.

google is great because it is sleek, simple, quick loading, quick searching, in your face. it says "you searched for this, now look at this," and nothing more.

all the ads are to do with your search words, and they're conveniently out of the way. they're there if you want them, otherwise, they can stay there quite happily.

you get the results you want, fast, and when you want them. its a winning program, its a world leader...no wonder
