I'm somewhat new to advertising online and tried a bunch of opt-in mailouts w/no success. I realize I need targeted traffic. I placed $50 on Kanoodle for my new hosing site (host-n-save.com). I received 300 hits and not one sale (I placed 1st to 3rd position). My question is, is that normal? I figured at least a 1% response rate, or am I wrong on that number.

I can't say that I recommend Kanoodle anymore.

I would focus on Adwords and Overture (maybe Findwhat) only. The return on Investment should be much higher with them.

Use the Overture suggestion tool and maybe Wordtracker to look for undiscovered keywords. As you already know, bidding on Hosting keywords is very expensive and competitive.

i buy targeted traffic. i don't really have a proper website i just advertise what affiliate sites i have. (the most profitable ones for me have been the casino ones)

i tried most kinds of advertising. safelists and hitexchanges but so far this company's website has been the only one which has worked well enough for me to return to them on a monthly basis.

What's up with this? Only 2 posts in 2 days by this user and both posts with the exact same text. Is this some sort of slow spamming? Or does iodata just not have anything original so say?

You'll get traffic that will hit your index page and leave. They do not seem to provide quality traffic.

PPC is like bulk email/traffic or search engine submission services... if you can get 100 000 000 for $10 you should be carefull and hear an ALARM...

When choosing a PPC SE, simply check how much $$$ advertizers are paying for the top market's keywords ... (If you have no idea which keyword to analyse,... why dont you read my signature for some tips hehe)

Anyway, before drop into kanoodle, you should try http://www.looksmart.com/ and http://espotting.com/ you'll sure get better results. GUARANTEED ! Go for it !

Askufo is rite.. You have to be carefull when you choose a PPC search. I had bad experience with goclick and many other ppc search engines.

I have tried kanoodle with another website that offered a great free product, I got 300 visitors and NO signups. This was for a great free product. I won't be using them again
