This is my favorite search engine. Mainly cause you getgood searches, yu get a history of searchs/visited links, and also an easy to use bookmark page. Personally i won't use google again (until they buy Amazon)

Doesn't A9 take results based on google, they both are pretty similar in the results, minus a few small differences.

They do take a lot of Googles results but i think they filter it a little. Personally i really like the bookmarks, and the history is probably my favorite feature. It tells
you what you what sites you viseted and how long ago you visited them. It also saves all your searches in it's memory, which makes it easier to find pages that you've searched for.

PErsonally i think they took google and added some really nice features to it.

Looks as though their results are now based on MSN and no longer google.

Yeah i saw that. That's kinda a bummer, but i think it still is a very powerful engine site, the diary, bookmarks and history are very useful tools.

What do you all think of A9 now that it is powered by Windows Live Search rather than Google?

it's not as good as when it was powered by Google, however with all their tools, i still use it. The windows search engine isn't bad by any stretch of the imagination

noobie21 here. Had to reregister because i no longer have access to the e-mail address that i originally signed up with.

Well i have given up on a9.com. After they dropped Google search engine for Windows (bleh!) they got rid of everything that made their search engine good, like the bookmarks and diary. So I now use google like everyone else and the yahoo toolbar (makes it easy for bookmarks since I have a yahoo e-mail account)

I'd not even heard of this site before until I saw it in my web stats because somebody had found my site through a9.com. That alone gives it the thumbs up to me
