hi ,

I see mention of PR web sites. I assume there is a way to check what PR rating your site is, but what do one need to do?

You can either install the Google Toolbar or use a PR Checker

It's a measure of backlinks... Don't spend too much time worrying about it though, It doesn't mean much..

There are a lot of free tools available which you can use to check Google PR of your site, just do a Google search and you will find many. PR is calculated on the basis of quality of incoming links to your site.

Seriously, PageRank is one measurement Google makes of links pointing
to a page. It's not the only way they evaluate links, and it's far from
the most important element in their ranking algorithms. The term is a
Google trademark. Too much is made of it because they made the marketing
decision to include a score derived from it on their toolbar, which has
many people convinced it must be very important.
