Hi Guys,
I was lucky to landed onto this site's and was amazed to see telents like you are discussing upcoming technologies every day on this site. Me and my friend are working on a project and request you to send us some of your valuable feedbacks.

This started as a fun project and now we are realizing the importance of the ability of searching spoken words in the internet. It's a transcription-based search audio engine, which listens inside the podcasts, broadcasts, audioblogs (any audio) and makes them searchable just as any text search. We are trying to experiment on the latest computing technology and the natural way to human communicate and information transfer.

as an example if you want to listen some thing about space exploration

or google search engine

Please send us your views and if you have your podcaste, videocasts, do let us know, we are looking forward to add some cool/informative stuff.

Cheers ,
OOYHAA

Thanks Stress Relief for your interest,
"It seems kind of plain", I am not able to completely undestand you valuable feedback, are you talking about the look and feel or the technical details?

Please spend some time to explain, I'll will be really grateful.

Cheers!

He's probably talking about look and feel.

I don't know...this seems like an "okay" idea. But to be perfectly honest with you, I don't see a practical use for it personally. If I type in "Kid Rock" (with quotes) I see 9 podcasts. I might want to hear a sample of a track from a new album or something.

It's also not clear how the results are generated. It appears that they're generated from the filename, which leads to the possibility of blackhat manipulation if your engine should ever take off.

Here's another search:

Marco Barrientos is a Spanish Christian singer for those who may be wondering. And I've got a client at www.libreriapandevida.com with a series of sample tracks from various albums (yes, he's got permission and no it's not the full song). Why wouldn't those be included?

Hey!! thanks for exploring. This is a search engine which lets you search spoken words not the songs/tracks. By typing "Kid Rock" you should get some podcast/audioblog talking about "Kid Rock" (if you are lucky they may play some sample track) . What we feel about this search capability is one can search some wide range of topics and listen to them online or later on their potable player.

As far as listening to sample tracks or full tracks, there are millions of sites that provide you the services.

There is a simple concept of speech to text conversion, our transcriber listens to the entire conversation and makes it searchable just like any other text search, so essential you search audio/podcast just as you search any textual content.

I request you to click on the top search links and see how it works and what results it generates.

Thanks again for your time.
Cheers!
