Hi

I have joined Marketleap/Inktomi's paid submission service for the front page of my website, http://www.safari-trader.com

It has been crawled according to the report on Marketleap and by searching Hotbot using "originurl:http://www.safari-trader.com" is comes up with a result, thereby showing that I am listed.

My main keyword is "safari" which produces a set of 4 million odd results when searching for this.

My questions are:

a) How can I track my progress in the rank if its lost in these millions of results. Most rank monitoring services only go up to the first 500 results or so.

b) After been crawled and indexed ([/i]assuming the page is within the requirements for a decent listing rank[/i]) by Inktomi/Google, is it a situation where you are usually ranked low to start with and as time goes by (with minimal changes to indexed page) the page rank will climb, obviously to a particular limit determined by the search engines algorithim?
