MSN and Yahoo is easier than google it is because of yahoo and msn are not following nofollow and dofollow concepts.so if you will submit in any directory or you will do social bookmarking in large number you will sure find your website in top5 in msn and yahoo.but google only following Dofollow concept.

You can rank easily in MSN, just submit your site to msn groups and add links.

I am the same for msn, most of my sites are ranked awesome in G and Y yet in msn they are way back in the listings.. I do not worry about it too much as i know not too many use them no more, however a bit of msn traffic would be nice lol..

When you refer to manipulate i think you mean they do not mind spammy keyword dense websites.. am i right?

I'm not so sure if it's easier to rank in MSN than Google. What I only know is that MSN gives more weight on page optimization than Google. To have a good ranking in MSN, you need to optimize the page content, website structure, etc.
