Hello,

Placing a keyword between heading tags seems to be good for results when a spider crawls your web site. Is this only applicable for the H1 tag or to all H tags?
Secondly, is the same positive effect still there when you use a style in the H tags. Let's say <span> to designate a color to the fonts?

Greetings,

Joop.

Eagleye,
I don't have an answer for you but if you don't get an answer to this particular question here. Try www.highrankings.com
That site is specifically for SEO.
I don't mean to direct others to that site from here, but it doesn;t look like your getting any replies to your question.
I won't make a habit of it ... but just trying to help.

Applies to all <h> tags, likewise the <b> and <strong> tags. All used within the top 200 words of the page are seen as title text, and thus using keywords in these tags as you suggest, effectively places keywords in your title.

Use of other formatting or style such as <span> will have no affect on your optimization.
