I dont get it.... dont know why everyones so obsessed with alexa.... i mean ive got a site someone in the 700,000s and to me it doesn't really matter

I myself ran after alexa ranking but not that I hate it now but I dont believe it matters anymore

Did anyone use "redirect.alexa"? I thought SEs especially Google don't like any redirects. Is that correct? If yes, then why we should use that redirection? Can someone share personal experience with it?

As far as "stumpleupon" is concern, I've never used it before, but I would like to get some information about it. I've already get through their website, but still didn't catch it. What should I do in order to let people see my site? Should I join them first and then do something else, or should I click " Advertisers" and promote my site there? Can someone clarify it?

It is good to have Alexa on your tool bar. We used it for our website ITVoir.com and it worked.

Does Alexa really matter? I mean its bias info because if your not using their bar your not going to get a good ranking. I know of some sites such as praize that encourage all of their users to get the alexa bar but other than that no I see no way.

I agree that Alexa's best purpose is when you plan to sell your web site or domain name. But as a website owner it is nice to go there and learn a little from an outside source as to how well your traffic is doing and plus any reviews are handy to read.

Well, that's of course if it had any bearing on how your traffic was doing, which of course it doesn't.

alexa toolbar contains adware beware, as it get installed in your pc's.. your antivirus might delete that adware hence, disabling alexa toolbar :P
