How to improve Alexa Rating quick

Ok want to get your alexa ranking up ? well you can do it , It isn’t hard.
Here what you can do:

Install the Alexa Toolbar , and get friends to search your site.
Install Alexa widget on your webpage
List your URL in [COLOR=red ! important][COLOR=red ! important]webmaster[/COLOR][/COLOR] forums as your signatures
Use Alexa re-directs http://redirect.alexa.com/redirect?w...ingyourich.com
Use stumbleupon that amount of traffic that it brings will improve your alexa rating
Get people to review your site on alexa, mine can be found here

Why are there so many threads about boosting Alexa rankings all of a sudden? You know what would be even more useful? I need to get the barista to put a few more ice cubes in my Americano every morning.

An Americano is an espresso drink. Couple of shots of java and water. A bit like a latte, but without the milk. It's good stuff.

Well if you want to be able to use reviewme.com you need a good alexa rating as they still use this, and so do adbrite.

Whats a accurate way of gauging how popular you are relating to other websites? I always thought alexa.com was the website to use for that.

Ask your friend, employee or other which you know to install "Alexa Tool Bar" And surf your website as many times it is possible, you will get a sudden boost in alexa ranking

I'm with everyone else, why bother? Alexa doesn't generate any emnaingful traffic. it's only really useful when selling your website.

well not even that, some sites get more alexa ranking naturaly more then others because of the people visiting it (webmaster sites anyone?)

if you just load the search status plugin to firefox, and reload a few times, you'll alexa ranking will start to drop lots.. it's not a very good way to gague the quality of a website, if and another website you want to visit has restrictions based on alexa rank, then i'd be worried about that as well.

Alexa is not just accurate. It only estimate traffic not the real.
