Yes quite simple. Google is the largest free search engine, Yahoo takes up to six months for them to even accept your site into there search engine. MSN does not have enough power yet.
That is the basic run down, google has the most spiders, and they search everywhere as google is a free search engine, meaning you can submit to it and be ranked on it without paying an extreme cost, like Yahoo charges for example.
