Google Images can earn a site a TON of hits, just have to be careful if you want to be using the bandwidth on those types of hits =)

Well, google is of the search engine which provides more traffic than any other search engine or any source. Discussion forums and RSS submission sites are also the most effectve source of traffic other than google.

You know, I think the "latest blog post" feature here is a huge source of traffic. I don't know the answer, haven't looked at the stats in forever.

I love viral marketing. Backlinks and traffic have historically done better for me than ppc...or at least the conversion rates seem to be better for me so I now own two sites that are specifically for viral scripts and traffic purchasing. If I relied totally on PPC I would not be turning that great of a profit - or maybe I need to figure out how to play that game a little better...oh well....my method seems to be working.

I get nice responses from webmaster-talk, thank you folks.

My major traffic response is from yahoo, google for some reason still not considerate to provide some good traffic. I left it to take its time to bring the good time.

Google traffic in #1 position, after that affiliate program..and other search engines, like Yahoo or MSN...very low...

For me, obviously Google, the most preferred search engine is the best source of traffic for my site and secondary I think forums are also helps a lot to divert traffic to my sites.

Google and Yahoo! are my best traffic sources to date, but it use to be Google and referring sites. Yesterday's analytics report had yahoo! at 200% more then Google and 90-something% unique visits.
