I personally don't have a favorite. I'm not too hard to please. I use Aptana... It's maybe not the best, but I don't require much to code. Just a sober mind and two hands will do.

I use Notepad. I don't see the point of any othter features on a text editor. For me, I can create sites faster without any interference from the editor. Though I did like topStyle when I had the Trial, simply because it added the doctype for me instead of me googling for it

Starting to really enjoy Dreamweaver. It really speeds up the troubleshooting process with the design view and for some reason makes me think really clear.

I like HTML Kit. If you know HTML and CSS very well then HTML Kit will be the greatest for you. It's very simple, takes no space and works pretty well. Instead others editors like Dreamweaver is very heavy software. HTML kit can be install on Pentium 1 too.
