Hello Guys,

Is anyone here an editor with DMOZ. I want to be an editor with them, but i heard the rules are very stringent. Can anybody tell me, what I need to do to be accepted? Thanks. Sam.

I would hope "don't have a web site" is the first rule, otherwise all the editors are just going to approve themselves.

Unfortunately, that's not the case, John. A lot of DMOZ editors (not all, but a great number) have their own sites.

spectregunner is a DMOZ editor, and a lot more reasonable than most of the mob, cliffhanger. You might have some luck talking to him (but I'm not promising anything.)

Why??? Don’t you have anything better to do, places to go, real people to meet,
making love or something...???

There are many people that have edited for DMOZ. I am one of them. I was not happy with their policies, and did not want to support them anymore, and had better things to do with my time.
