My question is How to Choose a Directory for Submission?
i know that know one bother about directory while submission, because we are getting one way link from them. But quality of links matter than quantity.
1) Find out if the directory is indexed by the topmost search engines. If it has not been cached by search engines for a long period of time, there is definitely no point in submitting your links on it.
2)Established, popular directories can bring in traffic and also the kind of back links that'll actually foster your site's optimisation process.
my conclusion; totally worthless article, obviously only written to spam forums with it

It's not good to add your link to any page that has a lower amount of visitors than yours or that doesn't have the same content as yours. Some sites may also spam etc. and may give your site a bad influence in the Search Engine rankings...
In general I'd say most web directories are pretty useless except for a handful of top ones.

about the checking; if you're submitting for yourself etc ... well, about 80% of the dirs are in fact not worth the time submitting, but then again, checking them 1 by 1 takes even more time, so 2 options;
1) order from the professionals
2) just submit as much as you can and forget about the checking ... sure 80% of your effort will be wasted, but you can do more this way then actually checking them ...
or use www.digiXmas.com
it will only give you about 20% of what we could do for you, but it's really cheap and very fast ... good for newbies to get started ...
A little addition for your 1) point : you have to also check the cache status of category where you would like make a submission. If the appropriate category which is relevant with your content is cached by the Google search engine you found a great place for your link, otherwise if the category is out of cache but the main page of directory is cached, it's also a time wasting . . . Always the important is exactly path of url where your page will be online.
Manual submitting is pointless... You'll need much time, huge amount of work, and no one guaranties to you new traffic and good rankings... It's hell of a game in internet marketing...
