I just would like to know if one article can be submitted to multiple article directories? Can any one provide with good article directory list which is worth while for submissions?

Just check their terms and conditions. Some people like to have exclusive rights to the article. Otherwise, they can suffer duplicate content penalties.

Duplicate content penalties is common for article directories as once an article is posted in ezine articles, hundreds of article directories scrape the content from there and post the same thing here.. which results in content copying and penalty.
But still i have good experience with article writing and submission, by just rewriting the articles and submitting to different directories.
