What difference does it make if the HOME PAGE of the directory is sorted by PR or not?

It's not like you *get* the PR if your site is indexed there...

(Not that PR means anything though)

I've just read your thread on Google Page rank. I am new at this but seem to get a lot of decent information from this forum.

So the jist seems to be relevant traffic and to get that you need to post or submit to sites which have a relevancy to the one you are promoting? This doesn't matter if they have page rank or not?

i too prefer directorycritic list ... we can sort out as our needs ... PR wise, newly added and more features ...

I have also put together a directory list at http://managedirectorysubmissions.fastreviews.org/

You can sort it by PR and you also get additional information (pages indexed in google/yahoo).

agree, lot's of crap in the directorycritic list, also; not checked for SEO-friendly etc ...
