I tried sending a message to a couple of the editors on the DMOZ site and ran into a proxy error. Then tried sending that error to the staff mail link there and ran into a mailbox full error.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Because DMOZ is still an important directory and other directories link from it. I think it would be a good reason to get your link there

Sometimes the editors chose not to index you link because they consider it to be less quality. I have talked to a guy who's an editor and his advice was to try submit good quality article sites, otherwise the indexing might be an issue. I have tried indexing a blog of mine about orthodontics (unique articles) and hope to see it there. I am curious. Maybe you can try contact someone else .. don't know what to say.

Thanks for the advice. I will look into more article submissions. I've enjoyed writing the few I have, but more is always better.
