Web Directories

I just created my first Free Directory.
Its not using any of the paid or free directory scripts out their. Its all custom coded by myself, has some "unique" aspects, each to increase links to directory and improve usage for my visitors.

I have a Problem! All Listings in the directory must be FREE SERVICES, this is because I dont want no commercial websites selling stuff on here.

So I have created some Categories, but I can not think of many more! Can You Suggest Some?

-- Arcade Websites
-- TV Link Sites
- Shopping
-- Coupon Codes
-- Price Comparison
- Webmaster
-- Free Directories
-- Free Hosting
-- Link Exchange
-- SEO
-- Webmaster Forums
-- Website Development
--- HTML & CSS Resources
--- Javascript Resources
--- PHP Resources

... If your looking at the list, thinking Where does my site fit? and your site offers free stuff. Then PLEASE POST, and suggest some categories.

The directory is not yet launched, Im just trying to build it up and bug test at the moment. Any FREE Category Suggestions?

Hello PHP Adam,

I think you have a nice directory. Could you add a "Travel" category to your directory?

I submitted my travel directory to your webmaster/free directories category. So the time of website accepting is under a test at StatisticWebsite directory

2009-03-17 00:41:14 was when your website was approved. So Next day, but in the early hours. I get notified on iphone, rss and email when new website is subbmited
We currently do not ask for your emails, so unfortunately do not notify you when approved.

I have added category Travel we now have List of Travel Websites and your website is listed.

I think it looks good. I myself would go with a differebt header. But for your first self coded directory.

Check out some directories and their categories from internet. It will help you in making right categories and subcategories in your directory.
