I have just updated the statistics that include the Google update at the end of June. The stats were compiled from our database of 12,600 directories at web-directories.ws. Directories have been doing quite well over the last two Google Pagerank updates.

How about you tell us how your metrics are helping you run clean spam free list of directories?
Or why your list is lacking real high quality directories?
Are you telling us that your list contains every best directory you could find and your users are benefit from using dead on arrival directories?
Would you like to tell us why are you laying in your reviews and making up totally bogus stories?

Readers, I don't want to sound as if I making up some bull stories and offer to you proof about who is OP really are and what he represents when it comes to basic honesty and knowledge of the subject he claims being an expert.

To me you are just another ineffectual operator who is trying to put sparkles on your useless metrics that have no practical value to us what so ever except to promote your futile sites.

We have been busy updating and manually adding directories to our web directory list. We just happy to annoucne that we now have well over 17 thousand directories listed.

We have reached this new number despite our effort to concentrate on quality rather than quantity. Over the last 3 months we have deleted thousands of directories that were parked or otherwise dead. We attacked the listings in various manual and automated manners to clean it up. The information is as current as it will ever get. We hope that it will be useful to anyone looking for general, niche or regional directories.
