I have seen people talking about submitting their site to thousands of sites.

I haven't managed thousands yet as it takes some time. I like to do it manually to make sure i know what directories its going into.

Plenty of software out there to do that with a varying level of effectiveness. Keeping that software up to date is the largest issue, however. Since directories come and go all the time and the submission process changes even more.

You can submit your site in as many sites as you want but make sure all sites must not be ban and have good PR and quality.
