Have many of you read about JCPenny buying links?? I wonder if Google will do more than hand manipulation they are reported to be doing to JCPenny to devalue low PR value links more.

Now that free links from no and low PageRank pages are likely to be even less valuable, do you think directory listings from sites like http://ezilon.com, http://joeant.com, http://www.dirjournal.com/ and others will be better for SEO results??

Would you pay a fee, for a high quality anchor text link? Do you think it might be "needed" in order to rank well for most keywords??

There are so many way to bring high quality anchor text link with do follow attribute for free.

Unknown person only buy a link...

we don't bother buying links from directories unless the link will be place in good position and will surely bring quality traffics.

Do you really think that buying links lands up in top positions? Instead of buying links, why don't you make your website user friendly, so that users benefit from that.

I don't feel buying links is of any value except maybe the yahoo directory which is held in very high esteem by google and other search engines but the yahoo directory is quite expensive. Other directories I don't feel are any more valuable than the free ones and there are a whole lot of those.

Buying links are the act of people who are not ready to wait and work for their websites. There are so many ways to get good pr backlinks. You just need to do some search and have some patience.

I don't mind paying for directory inclusion. However, I would not consider any directory that requires you to pay lots of money just to get your site reviewed, and doesn't offer a money-back guarantee if your site is rejected.
