I have submitted my site HealthBodyFit dot com to DMOZ but after passing two weeks there is no reply nor it is included in the DMOZ. Should I re-submit or wait. Kindly give an expert opinion.

Have a brew, go for a walk, get drunk, do ANYTHING other than care about the useless pile of crud that is the ODP.

Maybe this is a stupid question and beating the horse that's already dead to death but why then, is DMOZ still so highly regarded and sought after (to be listed in?) Is this because of it's age that it's considered a reputable source of directory--or just the fact that people see it as a "high page rank aka credible " site. Or because it's human edited and that makes it more worthy? Or all the above.

Along those lines my second question would be how does this help or hurt a site when in fact they could be listed in small subtopics, what do you call them like sub-directories of the main page domain, wherein we know those sub directories don't have the same page rank as the first.

I'm sorry guys I was not born with the gift of understanding page ranking and back linking and all that over-thinking. This is all so confusing. Help me mommy.

None of the above.

It's because fifteen years ago Google used to use the ODP RDF for their directory listings.
