Hello, I have purchased a reciprocal link script. One of its functions, is a DMOZ import. The documentation says that it is a great way to get a lot of pages of content with great keywords. Is there a downside to downloading a directory like DMOZ. Might this not look like a link farm that everyone has cautioned against. Is this indeed, good content that will promote my site at Google and elsewhere?

actually you may find it has the opposite effect, many DMOZ clones have been removed from the index in recent months.

You must consider that the data archieve you can download from DMOZ is more or less 700Mb (if i remember well) so you need a lot of disk space if you want to upload it to your site.
