Why won't they accept me? Why do they keep insulting me? Why won't they list me?

I have a family friendly SEO directory that they won't add. They insult me and act like I insulted them. Why do they treat me bad?

sorry for the ranting. Im just upset because why don't they just say sorry and that your sites not accepted. Instead they wam me into the ground insulting me.

I don't know why they would reject you. Thats funny why so many people hate DMOZ.

I never seen so many bad posts about DMOZ before.

Check out http://www.newdesignworld.com/browse...heck-37-1.html

They show me that they might drop a number in pageranking
Domain name: www.dmoz.org
Current PR: 9
Predicted: 8 (7.8)
Accuracy: 66%
Backlinks: 2,532,284

Heres part of all the websites that don't like DMOZ (No Offense just posting for curiosity):

Submit once and forget it, if your site gets listed good for you, if not then it's not the end of the world for you and your site. The only reason DMOZ will list your site is if they feel your site adds value to their category.

Johnney1929: what's your site, and what exactly did they say (or not say) to you?

I agree with etec-martin: submit your site only once, then wait and see. It took me 7 months to have one of my sites listed. Now that it is listed this site has 700 links back, but i see only a little traffic from them.

You can submit your site to them and then wait. You will either get accepted or you won't. There's is no timeframe on when you might or might not be accepted. Just submit your site and forget about it.

petjelly if you keep submitting over and over it probably won't be listed. The guidelines say to submit it once. It's hard enough to get in by following the guidelines. Not following them certainly isn't going to make it easier.

I submit and forget. But it seems they do the same. I submit then they forget about me. I have submitted a few sites in the last 5-6 years and never heard word one from them. But i continue to make money with my sites.

Yes. just submit it once and forget about it. If you get accepted, that's fine. If not, it is not the end of the world. You can still do very good without being listed in DMOZ.
I only have one of my sites listed in that directory but it does not fare any better than my other sites which are not listed in DMOZ.
