I have a visit to my site from the domain editors.dmoz yet my site has yet to appear in the directory. Does it generally take a few weeks once the site has been reviewed? Or did I just get passed over?

In theory, you could have been listed immediately, but with DMOZ who knows! Good luck....

Yeah, if your site is added then it'll appear almost instantly. But, a hit in your logs from Dmoz doesn't mean that your site was reviewed. It could be anything; a robot checking for dead links, an editor checking for dead links or to see if your site is in the right category, and many other reasons. Or, maybe your site was added, but to a different category than the one you suggested.

In some cases it can take months for a site to be reviewed and added. It depends on how commited the editor is

factorysupply, if you put your physical address on your site then you can also get listed under Regional in Dmoz, too; in the locality where your company is located.
