Guys anyone has a site listed at DMOZ? please give me an advice, coz my site is always rejected ;( ,am following DMOZ instruction.. but still unsuccessfull

why do u want to get into dmoz???

spend the effort in getting links from other places.

with Dmoz,

submit and forget.
dont waste ur time on it.

The secret is forget about it. if you get in great. If not then you haven't wasted your time worrying about. It's a nice link to have, but it won't make or break your site.

I have to echo what has already been said, Submit and forget.
Dmoz isn't the be all and end all of web success, It's just a directory.

All these people are right. Although I learned just to submit and forget the hard way.

I recommend (in my opinion) just submit and forget and don't argue with them(that could get you banned), and just submit to others if you didn't suceed.

Theres always other fish in the sea (im not talking about crushes).

yes short description is very important i think. But other important way category moderators. Some moderators works good but some are bad.

how do you know you have been rejected? I was under the impression DMOZ never send confirmation of a succesful submission or a failed submission.

I agree with Praveen and the others dont spin your wheels with just 1 directory as there are thousands to be included in. If you want to ask them then you can try The Resource Zone - Open Directory Project Public Forum and ask your questions and you might get back info,but i wouldnt get to pushy as this will not get anything but banned or never included.
