I've just finished compiling a list of almost 3000 directories listed by PR (it's taken me almost all day

I've posted them up on my site here - Directory List

I'll hopefully, time permitting be adding more and updating the pagerank around PR update time.

Those of you that submit to directories hopefully you'll find it useful

I think u didn't arrange them in accordance to Paid or free

but collecting 3000 Directories is great

Nice job, but you should organize them. Free, Niche, Paid, Reciprocal, International, Blog Directories... etc.

Take example fom Directories portals such as:

http://www.manhattanservice.com
http://www.best-web-directories.com
http://www.directorycritic.com/
http://www.koopy.org/

They have thousands directories organized by topics, pagerank, alexa rank etc....

Thats a great thing matt.It would have been better if you would have divided it into pages as it would have fetched you more links and you could have increased the size of the text.Any way you did a great job.

Great Effort Matt ! I've come across a post which suggested about 600 directories. You are very far from it. Mind blowing !!!

Hi sorry about that, apparently there were some datacentres down that affected the host.

Just to let you know I've added a .CSV file of all of the directories and updated the PR. Some are still a little off as the recent changes haven't propagated across all of the datacentres as yet. I'll update them again next month when hopefully things should have settled.
