i made list of article directories. Everyone can submit.

Some of this directories requie unique article, some of them need registration, some of then niche.

since your directory has paid/reciprocal listings, dont you think that atleast giving directory owners a keyword-rich link would be fair trade?

I couldn't see http://articles.simplysearch4it.com listed which is a directory that has been online for well over 4 years and approves articles on a daily basis.
