I need a php directory script for two websites.
Any suggestions ? which one would be the best choice ?

There are phplynx and phpld scripts as well.
Both have free versions.

just go for the most use directory script. and that is phpld. is very popular directory script

Phplinkdirectory has the most features for the $$$. That is probably why it is the most popular out there.

Are those script automatically check if "reciprocal Links" exist? I assume it does. Otherwise, how do you prevent people from not link back?

Just curious, if you start a brand new site with those script, how do you get your site to high PR, since there are so many sites like that ...

I have a list of directory scripts that in my opinion are very good, the hard part is trying which one that will suit your needs.
