For more then 4 months I have started the work on a Website Submitter software.

I have tried to submit my websites safe and without fear of banning because of automatic submition and did not found any good solution. The second problem was the lack of new directories. So I build with my team our own tool. The application is named Website Submitter and can be found here.

Some information update as 03.032006:

- 2400+ directories in database
- online video of how the application works - here
- direct download link to the 14 days trial installer
- online directory updates from the application
- unlimited rotating titles (anchor texts) and descriptions
- completition for ulrs, description, text and even category
- reports in htm and pdf format
- for 47$ you receive a 2 year license and unlimited submissions

I have tried to make the application taking care of what a webmaster wants. If you have suggestions will be gladly accepted.

For directory owners I have prepared a submission page. So if you want to submit your directory please do it on this page.

Great news, Website Submitter 1.4 is now launched:

- speed improvements
- user custom directories (If you want to add your own directories you can click on button "Add Directory"). The stored directories and profiles will be stored if you make future updates (take a look at a video demo with this new functionalities)

I just made a comment on another post about this exact subject and it looks like you have the solution.

From your demo video are you saying i can build a list of directories i want to use in say msword and import them into your tool?

Hi Rich.

Yes, you can easy can do this, Just create your own list (one submit url per line) and save the file as txt file. You will be able then to import it in Website Submitter and use it within the application.

- 3056 directories (we just pass the 3000 limit)
- 200 new directories for category spanish directories
- spanish version of Website Submitter with localized website launched

Your program is good. I have some suggestions.
A lot of directories seem to ask for street address, phone number etc. if you could add these field into your website details form, it would make pasting this information into directory submissions easier. Also, in addition to owner name, a company name field would also be nice.

Thank you for the suggestions. Indeed these information are asked in some directories 5%. I will think about it and bring this functionality in a next version. We also plan for a next version multitab submission.

I thought automatic submition is not allowed by directories and search engines

Website Submitter is not automatic. Is semi-automatic. The application will pre-fill all the input fields in the submission pages ( url, name, title, description etc ) and will select the category based on the one you entered.

You as user must click on submit button and sometimes enter also the Captcha number,

- a larger database of directories 3700 and also orientation towards regional directories ( 360 French directories, 200 Spanish directories, 160 German directories, 470 Romanian directories )
- optimization in the submission process
- better compatibility in 120 dpi and custom dpi

If AMRAY Web Directory is in your list, I will suggest you to remove it
or you will be adding to our black list lots of fresh IP addresses.
