Hi ... just adding my 2.5 cents re: godaddy.com. Tried the cheap-o plan, and it was okay: no noticeable down time, easy access and everything worked. Left due to a mutual misunderstanding re: size of db any of its shared plans could load. When this problem is fixed, maybe next year, I'll likely go back to godaddy.com. That said, godaddy sells mostly hope and image; support is uneven: sometimes great, sometimes useless, mostly mediocre. All in all, I'd say B+ and, of course, it all depends on your needs and how you use what you rent.
Up-date: moving from netnation.ca to midphase.com, today, I discovered the latter and it's affiliate companies (ANHosting, et al), have dropped support for Front Page, completely, and don't expect to add Expression, any time soon. "Too much trouble, with FrontPage," both billing and support staff told me. As I intend to be around in 10 years, I need a host that also shares that goal: ergo, back to godaddy.com, as it offers the full range of FrontPage support and doesn't claim any intent to drop FrontPage, in the near future, anyway. An endorsement, of sorts, I guess, for godaddy.com. Ugh!
Good luck.
