cjvj,

I don't own a hosting company -- but I do like 1and1. I have several sites running with them and they have a great control panel. They are also the world's biggest web host with over 3 million customers.

Good luck.

I have used Phatservers for all my sites since I first started as an webmaster in 1999. They have always been around as one of the best!Check them out.. They have an excellent program and great service.

Question...have you ever had to contact them about a support issues? I was just wondering how it was, personal or not. I would think it would be hard to do with 3 million customers.

I would like to cast my vote for my current provider (uplinkearth.com)...while they may not have the same customer numbers, they have great customer service, solid product/service balance and very importantly, have been around for quite a while. I looked at 1and1, but decided to go with uplinkearth because I wanted more personal service.

Good luck to you!

I've used 1and1 in the past and had a quick response time when I submitted support tickets. They are a good host and I'd recommend them to anybody.

Might want to search on webhostingtalk.com on them, they have a very poor reputation.

I would not use 1and1, I have heard many stories about their problems with support and billing. Give http://www.mixcat.com/hosting/ a go.
