Hey there,

Unfortunetly, there is no such thing as unlimited bandwidth, every package has to have an assigned amount of bandwidth.

I will be able to help you with free hosting, PM me for me details.

P.S You MUST be willing to either place a banner on your site, or an affiliate button in return for free hosting.

As dotcom pointed out, there is no such thing as unlimited, most free hosts will require some form of advertising for this.

Sambh, where did you get this vBulletin? Because if you could afford it for $160, I don't know why you can't afford hosting, which would only cost around $100 a year.

I think what the 2 people above have said is very true - if you can afford vB then you can definately afford a good host. I on the otherhand am in a different situation - I got vB off a friend who closed his site, and I told him I would pay him back afterwards when/if the site makes money - this guy may have borrowed the lisence etc and was skint in the first place, so thats why hes looking for a free hosting, or he could have an illegal copy of vB - if so is there a reward to reporting illegal usage?

for goodness sakes people - high quality paid hosting is so cheap, as low as only $2 a month for good package like my plan 1 - so why even bother with free hosting; especially when hosts like mine allow mail-in payment via cash or check if nessecary

We don't oversell space or bandwidth. The space and bandwidth was primarily used to host sites that myself or my friends designed for personal sites or that we were hired to do. We just had a lot of extra space and bandwidth so we decided to open it up to a shared hosting company, and thus we started LCR Hosting.

I personally like www.doteasy.com for webhosting and is what I recommend to my clients who don't want to pay a monthly fee.

Doteasy costs nothing a month (but you pay a one time fee to transfer your domain name or to register a new name). They don't put banners on your site and you don't need to advertise them (ie put a link to their site on yours). The way they advertise however, is by advertising in the emails you send out using their hosting email. There is a small note at the bottom of each emails, which my clients don't find it's a big deal.

What you get for free is 1GB of monthly transfer, 20MB of diskspace, 10 email accounts and no restriction on the file size limit. They also accept money orders if you don't have a credit card.

Hope this helps... good luck in finding your webhosting!
