Hi all,

hope someone can help with my questions.

I have hosted my website with sipero.com for the last year and have had no problems.

Recently, however, I have been unable to log to my control panel (I believe this may be on a different server!?) and therefore cannot carry out essential changes I need to make. - I have had no response from tech support.

Q - am I able to move my domain name, hosting and webmail elsewhere, I registered my domain name, host my site and obtain my webmail all through this provider!?

as I cannot access my control panel, I am unable to find out any additional info.

many thanks in advance,
Alex

Alex,

It's a shame your having so many problems with your Web hosting provider. Luckily for you, transfering to a new provider is typically a very simple process.

It all comes down to the domain. Even though you registered your domain through this company, they likely registered it through an actual registrar. So they probably do not control your domain.

To find out where your domain is registered try going to netsol.com or 000domains.com and do a quick Whois search. This will tell you where it is registered.

Once you have found that out go to the registrars Web site and try to gain access to the account. If you are the main contact on the account, this should be fairly simple.

Once you have access you can change the DNS/Name server records to point to your new Web hosting provider.

But first, you need to find a new Web hosting provider. Now, I may be a little bias but I do recommend www.gripinteractive.com

This is my company but I can guarantee you will not find better service anywhere else. I personally will work with you anytime you need it.

Whether or not you decide to go with my Web hosting, if you have any questions or need helping switching Web hosting providers, please do not hesitate to email me.

chris@gripinteractive.com

Good Luck.

hey alex,

I don't really know what your hosting needs are for the site you are running, but I use Host Phanx . So far I haven't any complaints. They are very quick to answer any E-mails i have sent, and are friendly.

I hope that helps,
