My dad has a domain hosted at lunarpages. Since he doesn't need all the space/bandwidth they offer...and i would like to make my own site, would it be possible for me to buy a domain name and host it with my dad's domain? For example...blabla.com is my dad's site. tralala.com is mine...can i host both of them with lunarpages at the same price?

From what I see, you're allowed 10 addon domains, so you can host 10 domains on that same account. You need to setup the addon domain via the control panel.

I would be careful about lunarpages and hosts alike who staffing their servers with so
many sites, servers became almost useless.

Find host that limit amount of sites per server to 200 and maximum 300 sites,
pay $5 and be ever happy with speed, quality of support and in the long run even price

Depends on the plan that you currently have with your host. If they allow multiple domain hosting then yes, you will just have to add that new domain in your hosting control panel.

It's according to your features' web hosting package. If it allow you host multi domain on one accout, you will be able to do that by:

1st step: login your domain control panel
Change your domain nameserver to lanarpageslike this NS1.NAMESERVERS.COM, NS2.NAMESERVERS.COM)
2rd step: Enter your dad's CPANEL - Domain manager
- Click Add-on Domain -> enter your domain(tralala.com), select directory of your site (tralala), password... -> [Add]
- Waiting... until a successful message, it's completed!

while you are able to wait for hours, you upload all codes to upper directory, change DB password, DB name...

If you have cPanel as an control panel you will have the addon feature which will help you to host your website on your dad's primary domain
Before adding the domain as an Addon domain from your control panel you will need to amend the name servers/ DNS settings as same as for your primary domain with the help of your registrar.

If you have root access to the control panel, you may change whatever you want.

Agreed with ldcdc - they are called addon domains.
But if you need dedicarted IP (different from your dady's sites have) you need to have own account or better to have account with addon dedicated IP (ask dad to get one for your addon sites)

He may not need a dedicated IP, most probably!
