Its official, fasthost is pretty much one of the worse hosters in the world!

They didn't realise that half of there servers were not secure enough and have had unauthorized people accessing people ftp & control panels so now they have decided that they going to lock everyone out! This means i cannot access my control panel to change my ftp passwords back or even my ftp's. And in 10 days they are doing the same with the mail. They said that they have posted the new control panel password via royal mail, which knowing the UK postal system, will take a good 4 days to get here, which leaves me with a load of angry people waiting for there website updates.

Also what really buggs me is that in 10 days i will have to change all my customers mail passwords, (in which some of them are personal to them because they use webmail) and go and re-configure thier outlook!

Wow, sounds like a scary situation with quite a radical solution.

I wonder don't they have international customers? It'll take a lot longer than 4 days if this is regular mail we're talking about.

At the moment, i wish. To cancel you need to get into your control panel...which i have no access to at the moment.

You can move without canceling, and cancel once that's possible. Anyway, given the situation, I think it's fair to assume that cancellations should be handled via email or otherwise during this time. You can't be locked in like this. I'm sure there are consumer protection agencies in the UK who would take an interest in it if the company refuses to cooperate with you.

That sounds pretty bad however http://www.hostparlor.com is steeling there customers credit card numbers. Bad servers or identity theft? I'd choose bad servers any day.
