Honest hosts with high morals and un-compromised integrity will never touch your files simply because their internal policies and security precautions will insure that there is limited access to restricted area and only for trusted personal with “A” grade security clearance with log to confirm who, when and why.

Of course if your site has been hosted from parents basement then you have every reason to be very careful. Praying or being lucky may help too.

Nicely said. I had similar fear long time ago when I first started my first website. It was funny at the moment but I thought Host were the still Kings and I was pawn, I was afraid if I did anything wrong, Host will delete it.
Now I have conquered my fear.

I agree with this, any host worth his salt would be very silly start stealing it's clients code/website/idea.

Reputation is a major player in the webhosting arena, it takes a long time to build up and virtually no time to destroy, something that repuyable hosts would never risk.
