Hi.

I already run a website, which I pay monthly for. I am looking into creating another one, mainly as a project for me to practice stuff on as I am at uni studying computer science. I was basically wondering if there are any webservers which offer for free, a small amount of webspace, mysql, and has php enabled? Or this this too good for free hosting. Ps i really hate popups but that might really be pushing my luck!

If anyone could provide a link that would be great

Andy

i viewed this post and thought that f2g.net would be a good choice for my host, but after they sent me my activation email, they didn't send me the info to log in to my account. is this normal? and if so, how long will it take to get this info?

If your interested in only paying a couple of dollars a month via credit card, paypal, cash or check you may want to checkout my hosting company, http://www.lcrhosting.com - If one of the plans doesn't meet your needs we can work out a customized package.

I want a host that is free, or certainly no more than $5 a month really. I would have to pay for my domain name you see, so I couldnt afford much more. I dont want pop ups or banners on my site, and would like mysql facility if possible. PM me if you can offer me something like that...preferably free

www.vivehosting.com - is even cheaper than that!

I know you are looking for a free host, but to be honest you really are better off with a cheap paid one!

My site is hosted at vive - see sig for link!

If you do decide to go for vive - please PM me for me affiliate link

I use Web-Mania to host my site..

They are quite reliable and I havent had many problems..Maybe on some occasions there may be a few hours downtime by not regually

Also if you have any problems there is live support available...Hardly ever offline

With vive its great because hes on MSN quite often so you can chat to him for support - also there have been 2 downtimes since I signed up over 4 months ago and the first lasted 30 secs and the second around 10 mins.
