Hey all,
I was hoping someone could give me a clue.
I've been running my website for nearly a year now with web.com who supplied the domain name and hosting services. About a week ago, I noticed I couldn't access my web's email through outlook. When I finally realized it was the entire site that was down, I stayed on hold with tech support about 2 hours until my phone died. I then emailed support and recieved only a confirmation number, and no response now for about 4 days. Now, strangely, I can no longer access web.com's webpage, and the support line seems eternally on hold...it's almost as if the entire company has vanished.
So now, I can't get in touch with anyone to fix the problem, OR cancel my service. And my domain is floating in cyberspace somewhere, inaccessible to both myself and my customers.
I'm going to attempt to call again during their normal support hours, but I was wondering if there's anything I can do on my end to figure out what's wrong and/or fix it. I havn't changed or uploaded anything in a little while that would have affected the site. When you access the page, it's as if it doesn't exist. Strangely though, my girlfriend has a domain with web.com and her site is just fine.
Any thoughts or advice would be great! Thanks all!
