So far nothing wrong with the service, fast customer support at anytime of day I've tried and everything is running smoothly. Yes though I agree on "underselling" mentioned above.

It does tend to be the case with hosting from friends - they are strangely more available to you than an average customer; good for you, but not something the average customer can use to make an informed purchasing decision.

I would say, wait till you reach your hosting limits.

Also, what domain do you have hosted with them?

If they're new... don't use them. I've lost so many sites because of small company servers being taken offline. It's a sad sad tale.

Save yourself the sorrow and go with someone well established and has a long and clean record.

Site i'm using on their server can easily be switched to my own server I finished today but since I know owner a little now, met him other day, I'll stick here for bit.

Been around for year so far but even if it goes down and I lose the money I'm not worried, money is no issue for me and hosting

donbiz seems to be a reseller and their parent hosting company is "ThePlanet" , so, you should check them out first

If you go from that perspective than everyone is a reseller.

ThePlanet is a fairly large datacenter and the site might be hosted on a dedicated/co-located server.

I have never come across them before. Find out what network they are on. Are they established? Get references, etc.

They're resellers and fairly new with little info about them online. I wouldn't trust my sites with them.

I would not host with them. I did not see server specs, backbone information, backup plans, live support is "offline", no privacy statement etc...

Friend of a friend type deals don't always go over so well.

No - never heard of the. There are a ton of high quality discount hosts out there that have very good track records. I would look for one of these.

I have never used and heard about it before. Is it a reliable one?
