i am hosting my dishnews forum and some blogs in the indian webhosting provider manashosting.My domain name is medianetwork.co.in.
My forum attracts less traffic around 500 pageviews per day.Also, i use some of subdomains for my blogs, which attracts no traffic.

My hosting package details are Linux 2gb webspace, 10gb monthly bandwidth.For past 10 months, my site only consumes 15%
bandwidth/month.

i am experiencing several frequent site down problems (particularly 4th time in last six days).Because of frequent site downs, i am facing several problems to improve my site position in google search.Two days back(7th may 2008) i got an email from manashosting with a recommendation to use dedicated server since my site uses more bandwidth resources.

Since that my site redirected to a page which shows the following message " This Account Has Been Suspended Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible".

Then i contacted their support department via chat option given manashosting site.Their CC officer did not aware this problem.

He informed me to contact billing department through raising support tickets option via their site.Then i raised 4 tickets with emergency status and send several emails to them. So far 36 hours passed, no response for my support tickets,still they are open status.No response for my emails too.

Yesterday morning (8th may 2008), i contacted their support department.This time they told me to provide cpanel id, password, my email id and gave assurance to solve my problem.No action till evening.

Then again i contacted their support department on evening.This time also they told me to provide cpanel id, password, my email id and gave assurance to solve my problem.What pathetic service from manashosting?
I am running my forums in this account with very little traffic.How can it consume more resources?
My site url www.dishnews.medianetwork.co.in

Without my knowledge they have changed me to new plesk server and informed me to upload backuped files and provided new cpanel login id and password.

God!!!!
The new cpanel (login id and password given by them) is not mine which is for freeonlinebookstore.com so, now i can able to login and modify cpanel of some other persons site.

Now i am seriously thinking to move other hosting providers.

they do not have their own site (manashosting.com) on their servers. They have hosted in GoDaddy. This explains how much they trust their own servers. Its surprising how a hosting company who claim themselves to be among the top three in India behave so irresponsible.

Today morning onwards i tried to call manashosting via phone, my phone call was never attended. They even failed to answer my emails and support tickets for more than 4 days! I got a lesson in life that cheap price equals to cheap service.

IMO before going with any hosting service provider always get some feedback about their support and services rather then looking at their prices.
Recently i found a Indian host host.co.in who are much better and know what they are doing.

Not necessarily cheap price = cheap service. I paid less than 8USD per month for a web hosting of 10 domains. Never experience any down time except for one major update of software on server. And I already paid 2 years in advance. enjoying its service till now.

I'm sure you'll get more if you need.
Check if you have Web stats as part of your plan, this is what any cpanel host provides, I get it in the cheapest package from ahosting.biz, so if you are using cpanel you ashould have it as well.

They seems to be resellers with outsorced indian guys in support.
Anyway that was not really good try from them to start their own business
