I would like to know/find the best all-around and flexible Web host that includes a domain name, Web building software, and more.

I would like it, if it included more than one domain name (but that is not a top priority.

A Web host – that if I decide to leave the Web has I would be able to transfer my domain name(s) / website to another Web host with no hassle.

And in expensive Web host – (e.g. - I don't mind paying $10 per month rather than $5 if it is better overall and meets all the above criteria.

I'm not quite sure what flexibility means in the original post,is this ability to upgrade to more resources?
As for the rest of your requirements (a domain name that could be easily transferrred later, web building software, etc) I think Marblehost.com shared deal might be one of the deals to consider, they offer USA and UK based servers so that you can choose between.

I think that you will be able to find such web host with no problem. You have very nice budget. And do not worry all that you want is provided by web hosting companies

I would strong recommend hosting.com if price is not a factor, they are some of the best around in terms of reliability.

Personally, and most experienced webmasters I hear do the same, I'd keep my domain separate from my host. That way, should anything bad happen, I will be in the complete control and able to change hosts.

There are tons of web hosts like that around. Some that come to my mind are hostgator, ix web hosting, dotster...

i m not sure but .. i think even though you take any web host it takes hassels and time to transfer domains !

Don't buy your domain name from your host!!! That's a huge mistake. If you move you're going to experience a lot of problems and most of the time you don't really own it, your host does. Register the domain yourself at NameCheap.com, then sign up for some decent cheap hosting from a reliable host. Use Google and webhostingtalk.com to research hosts.

Maybe this is true of the stupid and unscrupulous hosts, but generally a host will register the domain in YOUR name

While this is true, some companies have been known to keep control of your domain and refuse to let you transfer it to another company. While it doesn't happen that often, it's always best to register a domain separately with a domain registrar, then change the nameservers to direct to your host. If you decide you don't want to be with them anymore, they can't stop you from moving to a new web host as you have complete control over your domain.

Absolutely. One of my clients had serious isues when she tried to transfer from bravenet(paid hosting) to another. They cant refuse it, but the hosts will make it veru difficult to move to another host.

Dont think what appears to be more is always better, to get something with space and bandwidth which is REASONABLE for you.

Seriously never trust a host which has unlimited bandwidth/space there will ALWAYS be limitations on how much you can actually use.
